The trailer of the all new 2018 Mercedes Amg E63 S Wagon has just been released, and boy does it look good carving through those mountain roads with an unmistakable V8 rumble.
Although the previous generation naturally aspirated 6.3-L V8 sounds amazing, it’s nowhere near as fast as the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine in the 2018 Mercedes Amg E63 S Wagon. It churns out 604-hp and 627 lb-ft (850 NM) which is enough to propel you from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
That’s a wagon that can do 290 km/h (limited to 180 mph) and from the looks of it; drives like a champion. The 2018 Mercedes Amg E63 S Wagon gets optional carbon composite brakes, AMG’s three-chamber multi air suspension system and AMG Performance 4MATIC.
The interior is nothing short of a luxurious retreat, but smash your foot on the gas pedal and it all starts to become surreal. The E63 S Wagon comes standard with AMG’s nine speed sport transmission that features a wet clutch as opposed to a traditional torque converter.
On the inside, you get two digital instrument cluster display screens that measure in at 12.3 inches each with the ability to review the car’s performance figures. You also get the performance steering wheel from the AMG GT with alcantara and Nappa leather all around the cabin.
