If you were one of the lucky Ford GT owners who were able to secure one of Ford’s most revered supercars, you probably had the opportunity to use the Ford GT configurator to get your custom look.
When configuring the GT, you get to select different color combinations, rims and body stripes. This owner however opted to use Lamborghini’s colour palette, dubbed the Arancio Borealis via special order from the Ford factory.
Today was an amazing day. (Scroll Right) . I cant begin to describe how Im feeling about this entire process. . @fordperformance & @ford have created something VERY VERY special and their service during the entire process was above & beyond from beginning to end. . Special thank you to @fordgtforum, Dave Sinclair Ford, Shane (my Ford GT concierge), @fordgtstore, @rossocamo, @dannykbaker all of which played a significant part in this entire process. . A HUGE SPECIAL THANK YOU to @mai_tyler, who made my application video and played a massive part in all of this coming together. . This is one of the very first customer cars delivered and THE FIRST off pallet spec produced by Ford. . It is & will be 1 of 1…and can honestly say its the sickest car Ive ever seen in my life…EVER. . The color is an @lamborghini color called Arancio Borealis…and anyone familiar with this color knows it's nearly impossible to capture in a photograph. . I am literally sitting in the drivers seat and would & will tell you more about this amazing machine & process…but Im going fucking driving. . PS: Apologizes to my @goldrushrally, @rawmean & @petrolgirl, @bc for not being there and going dark the last few days…now you understand why…two years is long enough to wait on this 🙂 . 📷: @davidmullis
Owner Andy Frisella si definitely enjoying his special one-off Lamborghini Orange Ford GT; “This is one of the very first customer cars delivered and the first off-palette spec produced by Ford,” he says on Facebook. “It is & will be one of one, and I can honestly say it’s the sickest car I’ve ever seen in my life… ever.”
