Everyone knows the Lamborghini Aventador is more than good enough for straight line performance, but most people aren’t familiar with how fast the Porsche 911 Turbo S is. This video demonstrates how a twin-turbo V6 is good enough to take on a V12.
The 2017 Porsche 911.2 Turbo S in the video is armed with a twin-turbo V6 producing 581 PS (572-hp) and 750-NM (533 lb-ft) of torque while the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador relies on its naturally aspirated V12 that produces 700 PS and 690 NM (508 lb-ft) of torque. Needless to say; both cars are factory stock.
Also, both of these super cars are capable of pinning down a 0-62 mph time of just 2.9 seconds and both are almost equally matched on paper.
With such a sophisticated AWD system, the 911 Turbo S manages to snatch the race from the Lamborghini Aventador by just (0.77 mph) at the trap speed. Who knew a rear-engined beetle could take on the Italian Bull?
