Yesterday, Koenigsegg announced on their social media that the One:1 is about to destroy a world record with their One:1 mega car and they did indeed post a teaser as well. It comes at no suprise that mighty Koenigsegg One:1 was able to achieve such feat with 1,341 hp and the just 1,341 Kg of weight it smashes the previous record by a about 3.24 seconds set by the insanely fast Koenigsegg Agera R.
The Koenigsegg One:1 took 17.95 seconds to establish the 0 to 300 km/h and back to a stand still which is faster than the Bugatti Super Sport’s time that they wont show by the way (Someone is scared..)
Equipped with Michelin tires and in partnership with the them, the Koenigsegg One:1 established the record at the official Koenigsegg test track in the old air force base in Ängelholm, Sweden. Perhaps the most astounding thing is how Koenigseggs manage to accelerate so fast without any drama, you can clearly see that Serwanski (official test driver for Koenigsegg) barely touches the steering wheel to add any corrections as the One:1 flies away and remains very composed while its at it.
All data was collected using the industry standard VBox data recorder. Below is a list of all the metrics measured on the day:
0-300 kmh: 11.922 seconds
300-0 kmh: 6.032 seconds
0-300-0 kmh: 17.95 seconds
0-200 mph: 14.328 seconds
200-0 mph: 6.384 seconds
0-200-0 mph: 20.71 seconds
Just compare these numbers to any supercar/megacar/hypercar out there and come back if you find something faster or just send us a video in the comments below. We doubt you will.
