Good god, like we needed more power from this German coupe called the S63 AMG. But Brabus has other plans for this luxury coated bullet, how about 850 hp to begin with? Certainly nothing to joke about.
The formula goes something like this: Add more power to the 5.5 Liter twin turbo V8 found in the standard Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG that produces 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque and turn it into something like 850 horsepower and 1,069 pound-feet of torque. The result: The fastest coupe in the world, Mercedes-Benz says it can scorch a top speed of 217 mph.
But, how did Brabus go about getting all that extra juice into the engine? They bored and stroked the hell out of it, increasing displacement to 6.0 Liters, added larger turbochargers, a less restricted exhaust, and the usual and Brabus-designed carbon fiber air intake covered in gold heat shielding.
Numbers as stated by Brabus are as follows: 0-62 mph / 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and on to 124 mph in 9.4 seconds. A top speed of 217 mph limited by the tires, because they can’t spin any faster without losing safety (yea, go ask Bugatti..)
From the outside, the Brabus Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG looks like luxurious monster, the El-Capone of coupes. Gigantic large bronze/gold wheels that are matched by a black paint job with aerodynamic improvements. All while given some carbon fiber upgrades here and there, extra body work that has Brabus written all over it.
The interior gets similar treatment, with allot of bronze showing up on previously silver pannels, carbon fiber trim and black leather upholstery with Brabus all over it.
