As far as convertibles go, this is the best of the lot. A British masterpiece dubbed the Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante – packaged with one of the most raucous V12 engines and a droptop experience to re-validate your existence. In a good way.
What differentiates the Volante from the normal Vanquish S is obviously the ability to lose its top, but the two couldn’t be far apart when it comes to driving experience. The Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante enables you to enjoy the Philharmonic Orchestra of the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine like a King.. or a Queen.
Other than that, the Vanquish S Volante receives the same engine with 595-bhp (580-hp) and 465 lb-ft of torque. If these numbers don’t excite you, we always say Astons have never been about providing insane performance figures, no. They are handcrafted to provide a unique experience like no other and they also happen to perform exceptionally well. McLarens on the other hand are made to cut through air and perform on track, so if that’s what you’re looking for – go buy a McLaren.
Don’t however get things twisted, because the Volante can sprint from knot to 62-mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 201-mph. Besides that, it receives a carbon fiber front splitter and a rear diffuser for better aerodynamics.
Aston Martin also equipped the Volante with spectacular diamond-turned alloy wheels and a fancier interior with intricate stitching. If you happen to like a custom one-off, Aston will oblige with so many options and customizable parts to tick off from their list.
Expect to pay something over £212,000 (Aed 980,000 – $265,000) for one of these but we know money isn’t an issue because this one is going to be a collectable for sure.
