GMC just teased what could be the all new Acadia which will go on sale starting spring and now we can see what the rear end is shaping up to be thanks to a teaser from GMC’s Facebook page.
The 2016 Detroit Auto Show is about to start in a week and the teasers have started to roll in, although not as exciting as last year it surely will bring a bunch of new models on the market.
The 2017 GMC Acadia is segmented as the makers crossover SUV and is going to be getting a refresh after almost 9 stale years of the same design. Based on General Motors C1XX platform, which will replace the Theta and Lambda platforms. This will also bee seen on the new 2017 Cadillac XT5 that share the same DNA as the Acadia.
Not much else is clear, but we are guessing GMC might be introducing a power train that replaced the older under-powered V6 found in the current Acadia.
