Seat is working on their new Off-road focused version of the current Arona dubbed the Seat Arona X-Perience and it should feature a rugged format and some off-roading goodies.
Seat’s upcoming compact SUV, the Arona, is set to receive an off-road focused variant dubbed the X-Perience. This will be similar to what we saw in the Ateca X-Perience version pictured above, which should be launched by 2017 at the Paris Motor Show.
If you are wondering what the Seat Arona X-Perience might include in its arsenal; Expect to see high-profile tires, all-wheel drive, black body cladding, improved off-road suspension and orange exterior highlights.
Although Matthias Rabe ‘Seat’s research and development vice president’ said that the X-Perience range helps improve the brands possibilities and customer experience he refused to comments about the Arona X-Perience.
He did however say “The X-Perience is an exercise to show the Ateca family’s possibilities and potential in the future. With the Ateca X-Perience we can go beyond that which we already have in the series. It’s for the customer who wants to go further, taking it to the extreme, for weekend adventures and, of course, off-road.”
The Seat Arona will launch next year and it will sit on the compact version of Volkswagen’s MQB platform, currently used for the Audi Q2.
