S63 AMG Brabus 850 Convertible Packs 850-PS and 1,450 NM

The Mercedec-Benz S63 AMG is already a mean, fast and super luxurious car. But what happens when Brabus takes a hold of the convertible version? We get the Brabus 850 Convertible – A drop-top monster with over 1,069 lb-ft of torque.

The Brabus 850 Convertible receives the same AMG 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 unit which in standard format produces 585-ps (577-hp) but with a bigger displacement and some power-upgrades you could only dream off on such a luxury surfer.

The engine is upgraded to 6.0-liters of displacement and produces 850-ps (839-hp) and an insane 1,450 NM (1,069 lb-ft) of torque which also means this is the worlds most powerful convertible.

The Brabus 850 Convertible accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds which is almost 0.4 seconds faster than the standard S63 AMG.

The Brabus treatment includes a better exhaust, wider tires, a carbon fiber aero kit, an adjustable suspension with the ability to lower the ride by 15 mm and an upgraded rear carbon diffuser.

The interior hasn’t been fully revealed yet, but we expect the same Brabus treatment on the inside as we have seen in previous models from the German tuner. More carbon-fiber and aluminum trims with Brabus logos.
