Paris Motorshow 2014: Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition

Maserati just introduced the Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition at the 2014 Paris Auto Show recently which is a special Ghibli edition that isn’t much of a change, but rather a slight showcase to say we are there and we established our new design direction.

Take a look on the inside and you will be greeted with the best materials possible, in collaboration with Italian Fashion label Ermenegildo Zegna Maserati was able to produce yet another astounding simple masterpiece. While I am not a fan of these fashion designer manufacturer collabs, I don’t mind them if they are not added with a significant price tag.

The exterior of the Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition is painted in a new color “Azzurro Astro” which is a collection of tri-layered pigmentations that result in what seems to be different colors in different light conditions mixed with liquid metal to exemplify the cars aggressive lines and design elements. Meh..

If you are looking for utmost luxury in a Maserati, you would be pleased to know that the Ermenegildo Zegna Edition has allot of that. Carbon Fiber inlays and Plotrona Frau Leather (yea we don’t know either), but we are still not convinced.

And as expected, the powertrain remains the same with the twin turbo V6 in the base Ghibli that produces 345 hp @ 5250 rpm & 406 lb ft of torque, the Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition concept reaches 0-100kph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 284kph.
