The Pagani Huayra is an incredible machine that can do so much more than look good going down the road. But what if you could have the same experience in a drop-top version?
That would be ideal, but Pagani had other thoughts because they didn’t invite any press or media to their secret unveiling of the Pagani Huayra Roadster. Instead they invited some lucky customers during a privately held event. They were treated to a surprise in the form of a new 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster. For the public unveiling, you would have to wait for the Paris Motor Show this fall.
The standard Huayra is powered by Mercedes’s AMG bi-turbo M158 V12 engine that produces 720-hp, enabling the Huayra to complete a 0-62 mph sprint in 2.8 seconds. So we are expecting the same engine with no changes whatsoever, but who knows.
Word is only 100 examples of the 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster will be built in the same factory with a one-off edition expected on request. Pagani did confirm that the Huayra Roadster will indeed make its way to the Pepple Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21st. With 75 units spoken for, the Huayra Roadster will be really hard to come by so if you happen to have the cash, you better get in touch real quick.
