We’ve been hearing about a possible Toyota Supra for years now, and nothing was confirmed until the Japanese automaker dropped this teaser image and confirmed a debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

The teaser reveals a curvy body that resembles the older generation Supra, possibly taking a lot of inspiration from the FT-1. The FT-1 was a joint project with BMW that lead to the new BMW Z4.

Speculators are saying the Supra that is going to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show is going to be a concept version of the actual car with plenty of things stripped out before production starts.

There are some other reports that suggest the new Toyota Supra will have a Gazoo Racing banner instead of Toyota badges in order to establish their racing brand which is ludacris if you ask us. If anything, Toyota might add a TRD badge on the performance models.

Toyota is allegedly planning to use the six-cylinder BMW sourced engine with 335 h for the Toyota Supra, although we think there might be a new performance engine in the makes.

The Supra will come in four different versions which will likely feature a 4cyliner, a turbocharged 4-cylinder, a V6 and a twin-turbo V6 at the top of the range. Can’t wait? stay tuned for the official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6th.
