Seat recently released their Seat Leon Cupra which was undoubtedly the most powerful production seat until now. The updated Seat Leon Cupra receives 10 more hp and several goodies.
The engineers at Seat had to dial up the Seat Leon Cupra making the 2.0-liter TSI pump out 300-PS (296-hp) and beefed up the torque to 380 NM (280 lb-ft). It’s now very similar to the Golf R in terms if power and handling capabilities.
Very impressive figures indeed, although it isn’t much to brag about but with the DSG gearbox one might expect to get a quicker 0-62mph time than the previous 5.7 seconds. Nothing about the performance figures has been released, but we have a feeling it’s going to be at-least 0.1 seconds quicker.
Power is good, but there is much more to expect. Seat also announced it would include Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC), progressive steering and electronic self-locking differential.
The updated Seat Leon Cupra now includes Eco, Comfort, Individual, Cupra and Sport modes in addition to some of the latest driver assist technologies like Pedestrian Protection and Traffic Jam Assist.
The Cupra Estate now includes AWD and a Double-clutch DSG transmission.
