The Company Vice-Chairman Volker Steinwascher, discussed how important it is to focus on bringing new technologies to the table. And stressed on the advantage of starting with a clean sheet of paper, since the company is very new. This means that they have no design history to adhere to. Nor do they have to conform to the current industry standards of design.
Qoros also stressed on the fact that they are aiming for the top rating in Europe’s NCAP safety tests. The company values are strictly conformed to enter the market with a clear vision, Backed by safety and mainstream designs. The company’s first car which will be revealed at the 2013 Geneva motor show will also depute at the Shanghai motor show.
Let’s look at the design of their cars first, and examine their overall shape consistency and brand identity. honestly; I did not find a single entertaining, or engaging factor about this new Chinese Automaker. It does not even try hard enough with producing a proper Logo for their brand. It looks like weird “Q” with Qoros written inside it. The styling of the car is all over the place, with inspirations from all Volkswagen cars and BMW bits. Apparently since they were aiming to enter the European market, they thought it would be easier to just confront the market with a shape that they are already familiar with.
Will this be another car Auto maker that will join automaker Chery, on the shelf of “No one cares”? What do you think?
