A golf car isn’t looked upon as something you enjoy riding or even something you think of as a luxury retreat, that is until Mercedes-Benz decided to do something about it. The German boys at Mercedes thought it was a good idea to re-invent the golf car and give it a 19-mph top speed. Not only that, they added carbon fiber, a touch screen and some lovely rims!
This was the final concept that Mercedes-Benz had reveled to the market, made in collaboration between Garia and Mercedes-Benz designers from Diamler group. Garia is a company that already produces luxury-focused golf cars so having them on-board was a bonus.
One look at the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia golf car and one can see this wasn’t just another concept with boring looks and some interior upgrades. Both teams worked hard at trying to stray away from the regular golf cart look in hopes of transitioning into a bonified golf car with luxury and looks that benefit from a sculpted body and a low slung profile.
To cement the fact that the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia golf car is no average golf cart, they added a carbon fiber roof, a carbon fiber rear-bumper and an integrated spoiler. At the back, two traditional Golf bags are available because it still is used to golf right?
The Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia golf features curved bench seats that hide a refrigerator underneath, carbon fiber interior accented with wood-trim and metal surfaces with the addition of a large touchscreen that displays vehicle information such as score-card, range, parking-brake status, course map and other important information. There is also Bluetooth conectivity that alows you to link up to the on-board infotainment system and play your favorite music on the go or while golfing.
You can get your hopes up because Garia made two concept for show as of now, but they do plan on building them with Mercedes-Benz if customers come flocking and I’m betting your rich dad wouldn’t mind adding this gorgeous golf cart to his fleet.
