The Ministry of Energy in Abu Dhabi have announced the fuel prices for the month of March with Petrol dropping a major 7% and Diesel going up by 2.2 %.
Unleaded petrol 98 dropped down from a 1.58 to a 1.47 compared to feburary while 95 special took an even steeper dip to 1.36 dirhams from 1.47 and Petrol E Plus 91 was down to 1.29 from 1.40. This is all due to the current recession slowly creeping into the Middle East and the rest of the world while global glut persists in the market. Earlier this month oil producers like Russia and Saudi Arabia decided to freeze oil production at January levels that led to slight recovery of oil prices but there was no commitment on production cuts.
