Odds are you heard of the new Lamborghini Centenario but have’t heard the sound of that luscious 759 hp V-12 Italian masterpiece. Fret not, this video gives you a glimpse at (2:50 minute mark)
The V-12 engine is naturally aspirated and produces a very healthy figure of 759 hp routed through all four wheels with the addition of rear-wheel steering. Lamborghini is aiming to enter the hypercar race with the Lamborghini Centenario since it quoted a 0-62 mph time of just 2.8 seconds while being able to top out at more than 217 mph. These figures are certainly respectable but seem late to a race that has been going on for a while now.
With the new Bugatti Chiron in town, the Lamborghini Centenario numbers seem futile and pale in comparison but we aren’t in the same ballpark here are we?
Expect to see only 40 units of the Italian bull split between 20 roadsters and 20 coupes, sold at a whopping $1.9 million or 1.75 million euros. All of which have been already pre-sold.
