Lexus just dropped two teaser shots for their new performance model which is set to debut at next month’s 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Nothing official yet, be we reckon this new Lexus is going to be the GS-F and it should be Track Ready, destined to join the already track oriented RC-F. Goodjob Lexus, for giving us more F cars!
And although speculation had its glory when it comes to what model this F performance car is going to be, it is still isn’t clear if it is the new GS-F. Because the headlights on the current Lexus GS look different than what the photos show. Unless Lexus plans on giving the GS-F a nice twist.
If you are wondering what might power the new Lexus GS-F, we expect the same 5.0 Liter V8 in the RC-F with a bit more power, and probably a turbocharger or two.. as for horsepower, the current 5.0L V8 produces 467 horses and 389 lb-ft of torque, which means this bad boy should be north of 550hp since it is aiming for bigger fish to fry, like the BMW M5 and the Mercedes E63 AMG. As for now, let us leave speculations and wait for the official release.
