Most of you have already seen several NCAP crashes as it’s a requirement for every manufacturer to pass before production starts. This Lego Porsche 911 GT3 RS went through a similar test to the German Automobile Club (ADAC) test and it’s awesome.

The 1:8 scale model was selected after an online survey – it costs €299.99 ($337) in Germany and $299.99 in the US. The mini Lego Porsche 911 GT3 RS was assembled with 2,704 small blocks, there was also a 3d printed dummy attached to the driver’s seat for an added hint of realism.

To make things even more realistic, ADAC specifically set-up a crash test site to produce the most realistic damage to the smaller scale car, crashing the barrier at 46 km/h (29mph). Initially, I though it would be a lot less dramatic but I was wrong.

ADAC Technikzentrum head of the crash system, Johannes Heilmaier said; “The result was impressive and different than expected. The chassis of the car had no problems with the high speed, and there were very little damaged pieces on impact. It was almost exclusively the joint connections between the components”,
