This is it ladies and gentlemen, the last of the Mohicans; the Final Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Concept as confirmed by Mitsubishi’s U.S. chief Don Swearingen who also said that the Lancer Evolution’s time had come and gone, and that’s why we are getting this final concept to celebrate the Evolution’s end.

The Lancer Evolution X Concept is supposed to be revealed at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon show next month which is similar to the SEMA auto show in the United States and the Essen Motor Show in Germany, but is Japanese as you have already guessed.

The brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Concept is based on the top spec Evo GSR which comes with a five speed manual and an uprated 2.0 liter turbo version of the same old engine which is done by the very well known tuning company “HKS”. The works included a new upgraded intercooler, a new turbocharger setup, a High-flow exhaust and intake setup, and the usual ECU re-calibration which sees this Lancer Evolution X Concept reach a peak power rate of 473hp – 182hp more than the standard Evolution.

You may have noticed that the Lancer Evolution X Concept got black matte finish and some glossy black accents on the roof and spoiler. The rims are 19″ RAYS forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neovas tires in addition to an HKS tuned Adjustable suspension that makes the car a bit lower than standard, while the interior got some contrast red stitching.
