Here at “Cartavern.com”, we seem to be covering Koenigsegg news more than often and there is good reason behind it. The Swedish super-mega-hyper car manufacturer can’t seem to stop impressing us.
We expected something different and new, but we never expected something this new. Have a look and judge for yourself, Mr. Van Koenigsegg you managed to shock us once more, and we love the new designs Koenigsegg is rolling out constantly.
Until now, we have no idea what the Koenigsegg Regera will have in place of a traditional Hybrid system but we are sure it has electric motors. Lovecars shared these designs of the brochure and some were taken directly, word is the Koenigsegg Regera will feature Direct Drive (KDD) technology which uses 700 hp electric motors powered by a 9kWh battery pack. The result is a staggering utterly insane 1,500 hp rating for a mega-car that weighs 1,420 kg (3,131 lbs) that is more power than weight! This will allow the Koenigsegg Regera to sprint from 0-400 km/h in less than 20 seconds, enough said, I no longer want the Porsche 918.
