The Kia Stinger GT is Kia’s first proper sportscar with rear wheel drive and an array of turbocharged engines that deliver stellar performance from the Korean brand, something we have been dying to see for a while.
The Stinger GT is expected to go on sale in January 2018 and the prices start at £31,995, Aed 155,694, $42,387. You can choose from five different variants with three trims – GT-Line, GT-Line S and GT-S. Each offer a unique configuration with three turbocharged engines and a range topping 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 pumping out 365bhp in the GT-S variant. 0-60mph is done with in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is set at 168mph with no speed limiter. The Kia Stinger GT-s will cost £40,495 or Aed 197,000 or $53,000.
You can also have the cheaper versions like the GT-Line and the GT-Line S both of which offer a 244bhp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine pushing out 197bhp with a claimed 50.4 mpg rating that makes the touring range capable of more than 600 miles.
All of the Kia Stinger GT models will be equipped with rear wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox with flappy paddles.
The Stinger isn’t all talk either, on the inside; the Korean sportscar gets an eight-inch touchscreen, apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a harman kardon 9-speaker system.
