It’s a stormy day, and visibility is at an all time low. So what do you do if you were lost and helming a military Mi-8 gunship helicopter? land in the middle of the road and ask the nearest trucker for directions.
The original video describes the incident as such: The Kazakhstan military helicopter lands near the village of Karabutak, and after it landed in the middle of the road, one of the military staff stopped by the trucker to ask for directions.
The guy recording was cussing and laughing with his friend on the intercom – but seriously, i would have expected the Kazakhstan military to be prepared.
I guess in Kazakhstan, the truckers direct air traffic.
Maybe he was asking for directions to the nearest pub.
To the military’s defence, snow storms are quite difficult to navigate through especially when you are in a helicopter. Plus, this sort of comradery is to be expected from the caucasus people.
