This is the Kahn Design WB12 Vengeance set for release in next month’s 2016 Geneva Motor Show and to be quite honest, it doesn’t really add anything special to the already beautiful Aston Martin DB9. The thing is; Aston Martin cars are known for their elegant sweeping lines and simple design, but British vehicle customizer and coach-builder Kahn Design thinks the DB9 needs more aggression thus they made the Kahn Design WB12 Vengeance Aston Martin based on the DB9.
Kahn Design does go take the extra step when it comes to producing their models, because the Kahn Design WB12 Vengeance isn’t just a small body kit fitted onto the DB9. Aston Martin provides the rolling chassis from the factory grounds straight to Kahn Design where they craft their completely new aluminum body and interior, the body is made using traditional hammer-forming and rolling methods which makes it even more bespoke than any other kit.
Afzal Kahn, the lead designer and founder of Kahn design says he styled the car based on the first generation Aston Martin Vanquish which has a brutal look that other newer Aston’s are missing in his opinion, thus he created a body that resembles a saber-toothed cat on the prowl. I’m not really sure what to think of it until it is seen in the flesh during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
