Japan has to be one of my favorite countries in the world, I love everything about it – and the 5.0 in Japan decided to get themselves a brand new Nissan 370Z Nismo for patrols. I would have personally gone with an R34 GT-R Godzilla but then no one would do crime and Japan would be the first crime free country in the world.

We’ve already seen all types of exotics being used as police vehicles especially since we are based in Dubai. We’ve seen the Bugatti Veyron police car, the Nissan-GTR R35, the G55 the Porsche 918, the Mp4-12C and the Aventador.

Tokyo’s Police department manages to be a bit cooler than that of the U.S which has Dodge Chargers and Ford Taurus standard patrol vehicles. The Nissan 370Z Nismo coupe is 3.7-liter V-6 powered car that produces 350 hp with Nismo chassis and suspension tuning.

Only three Nissan 370Z Nismo coupes were received by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department as a gift from Nissan to support traffic safety initiatives in addition to performing regular police duties. These three cars were all displayed at the traffic safety family festival where Mr. Makato Fuji (Nissan’s Regional Product Manager) handed over the keys to the Tokyo Police Department.
