The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show was one of the heaviest concept loaded shows till date, with a couple of futuristic open-wheeler concepts presented and unveiled.

However, this concept from Infiniti is by far the best one yet. The Infiniti Synaptiq concept is powered by a laser that sucks power from a pair of lithium-ion batteries producing up to 671 kW (wow..)

Don’t forget to check out the Galpin Auto and Fisker Ford Shelby 725hp Rocket concept

To further propel the Infiniti Synaptiq forward is an air-powered generator, generating a 0-100km/h time of just 1.5 seconds and a top speed of 384km/h. Let us get back to reality for now.
