The Hyundai Santa Cruz Pickup debuted at the 2015 Detroit auto show but it was a concept that was not meant for production. Well, not until the Korean auto manufacturer has sort of confirmed a much more rugged utilitarian serious version for production by 2020.

It’s never too late to see something as good as Hyundai Santa Cruz Pickup even it takes a couple of years to get it right, and we hear Korea is seriously considering the Santa Cruz for markets like Australia due to high demand of such vehicles that add up to 16.5 percent of the domestic market.

Sadly though, Hyundai might be looking to change the looks of the Santa Cruz pickup so that it might serve its porpuse much more effeciently to compete with the rugged pickups currently available in the market. The Hyundai Santa Cruz Pickup is powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline-four  engine that produces 190-hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.
