If you happen to be living under a rock and haven’t heard about the the grand tour and the incident that happened with BBC’s Top Gear and host Jeremy Clarkson. Well, there is no shame in that at all. Because you get to see an even better trio doing their thing without the involvement of the British conglomerate broadcasting corporation.
The Grand Tour show starts on November 18th on Amazon prime with the same trio seen on Top Gear obviously. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May’s first opening scene on the Grand Tour will cost a whopping $3.2 million to make which means they are pretty serious about their new show.
Why so much? The scene will have 2,000 automotive enthusiasts, 150 vehicles, acrobats, stilt walkers and six jet planes. We wont ruin it for you if you haven’t seen the sneak peak yet, but you can head on to twitter and check out Clarkson’s tweet.
The Grand Tour will air every Friday for twelve weeks and should go on for three seasons since the trio have already signed their contracts for three seasons. Who’s watching Top Gear though? A lot of people were commenting that this 8 minute segment trumps the entire new Top Gear season – we might have to agree on that one.
