Faraday Future Working On World’s Most Energy Dense Batteries

Silicon Valley based startup Faraday Future just teamed up with LG Chem to produce the world’s highest energy density batteries for the automotive industry.

The two companies are working on producing an advanced battery than can house much more electricity for longer periods of time to increase the mileage and safety of current automotive batteries. The battery cells should be seen in Faraday Future’s VPA vehicle platform soon in their new models and on LeEco’s cars as well, since the Chinese automaker has backed Faraday Future with money.

Vice President of global supply chain for Faraday Future “Tom Wessner” said that “LG Chem worked closely with Faraday Future to develop a tailored cell chemistry to optimize the range and safety of our mass production battery hardware.” He further stated in the press releases that “At FF, we are working with world-class suppliers to advance our technological innovations, and we look forward to our relationship with LG Chem as we push towards our vision of future mobility.”

Personally, i’m already starting to see a huge shift into electric based technology in all aspects of our life. Petrol and diesel engines are about to go away in favor of a greener earth but the transition might be a slow and difficult one for now.
