Face lifted Lamborghini Aventador S Trademarked

The hot gossip is in; and we hear Lamborghini has just filed a trademark application for the new Lamborghini Aventador S name and it isn’t just another edition, it’s an entire face lift. Let’s take a moment to thank the lord for another Italian V12 mid engined bull.

The trademark application has been filed with the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office for the Lamborghini Aventador S name, which also implies that this is another face lifted twelve-cylinder super car that would sit alongside the current ones.

It has been a while since Lamborghini even attempted to change anything on the Aventador’s exterior besides the recent LP750 SV version. We are likely going to see revised front and rear bumpers, completely new LED headlights and taillights with a power pump that sees the V12 produce an extra 50-hp.

This would put it close to the current Lp 750-4 SuperVeloce with around 740-hp, although comfort is expected to hold more value than handling in this particular face lift.

We haven’t got any information on whether the new Lamborghini Aventador S would make it to the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next year, but we expect to see some sort of teaser by the end of December.
