Just like Aston Martin represents James Bond as this classy, strong, well built character that has it all, other cars have different influences on their drivers and usually portray them in a certain light.
Alright, I must admit that this post might invoke some emotions in most of you when you find out the car you chose is actually pretty close to what your personality traits portray in real life. Read on and be patient, but most of all, select a car that actually represent you in real life – One which you might actually buy, like the most, would want to own or consider owning in the near future. (At the end of this article you will find a list with all the personality>cars traits, to avoid people selecting cars based on personality alone.)
1. The 2014-2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
The Chevy built Corvette has much more muscularity in its sweeping lines than those seen in a Ferrari 458 for example, it also represents America’s departure from conservative design in their most Iconic cars. Sorry Clarkson, but this Chevy ain’t got no plastic to bend in its rear bumper (those who watch Top Gear will understand).
2. The 2015-2016 Mercedes-Benz S Class Coupe
The 2015 Mercedes S Class Coupe is one of the most luxurious coupes on the market, it offers Bentley elegance, supercar speed in AMG disguise and looks to kill for. Ever since Mercedes implemented their new design language they were able to capture allot more of the upscale market.
3. The Toyota Prius
The Toyota Prius is the car of all cars when it comes to environmentally friendly technology, specifically gas saving hybrids and electrics. The amount of drama and sarcastic jokes made about the Prius make it one of the most talked about cars in the industry, but don’t let that stop you from choosing one though as you would be surprised to know which personality trait is attached to the Prius.
4. The 2014-2015 Jaguar F-Type
The Jaguar F-Type gets as close to touching the boundaries of Automotive design as one would expect, yet it manages to offer all that swag and exhaust music in a package that is legal on the Roads of almost every country in the world. Offered with two engines – A V6 and a V8, both capable of putting a smile on the Stig’s face. It is no surprise it made it to the top 5 cars in 2014.
5. The 2014-2015 Ford Fiesta ST
Let’s face it, the new Ford Fiesta ST is a fantastic piece of machinery capable of putting a small car and giving it a good 1.6 Liter Eco Boost engine with 197 hp and some sporty handling. It impressed quite allot of people because it offered such a good drive for such less money making its self irresistible for the sensible man and women.
6. The Lamborghini Huracan
Oh Boy, the Huracan is one of Lamborghini’s most feminish (Design wise) and outrageous cars to ever hit the pavement. Picture the Lamborghini’s LP610 with 610 horsepower slipping through the winds of your city, one can only wonder why he/she would spend so much money on a two seat-er drop-dead gorgeous coupe. The answer is pretty self explanatory to some of us.
7. The Nissan GTR
The Nissan GTR was made to solve one problem; make a super-car super fast and affordable at the same time without cutting corners. It has insane acceleration speed from digs and performance to die for on the track, it also lacks glamour and luxury due to its technical and sharp focus on performance. Inspecting the underbody of the 2015 Nissan GTR reveals how serious Nissan is about the performance of its only supercar, it features heat-sinks on its titanium exhaust and air inlets and outlets everywhere to sharpen aerodynamics.
8. The Ford F-150 Raptor
The Raptor is no stranger to danger, it can do about everything off and on road while barely breaking a sweat. It looks like a monster too, with all sorts of off-road wizardry and mighty performance enhancing bulges and patches. It is hard to sway from buying one after seeing it perform crazy jumps dune after dune, but it is easy to overlook its price. The raptor was actually nominated as the car to have if catastrophe ensues, and one most escape by any means.
9. The Porsche 998 – 911 Turbo
The 998 Porsche 911 Turbo is one of the fastest coupes in the industry, with enough luxury and horsepower to rival any serious super car. It has been the Nissan GTR’s most formidable enemy, packing as much power and posting similar times at the track for years.
10. The Koenigsegg One:1
If you haven’t heard about the Koenigsegg One:1 before this article, chances are you have no clue what it advertises that makes it one of the industries finest machines. It has as much power as it has weight, how much? 1360 kg and 1360 hp, which makes it the world’s first Mega car.
Great, all done? By now you have already made your pick, and based on that you should determine which personality trait suits you based on your favorite car. Each personality>car combination was carefully selected to best suit each different individual, although we have a feeling most are going for the Huracan.
1. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: Quick Witted and Energetic – The Dynamo
The Chevrolet Corvette has been long labeled as the poor man’s supercar, but it finally sheds that stigma away with it’s insatiable performance and its undeniable European/American good looks. You chose the Corvette Stingray because you are adaptive and energetic, you can solve situations quickly and look good doing so, just like the corvette doesn’t care if it dose not have an exotic price-tag, it knows it can out perform most of the Italian thoroughbreds.
2. Mercedes S Class Coupe: Successful and Inspirational – The Champion
Chose the Mercedes-Benz S Class Coupe? Good one, this German masterpiece is meant for the classy business man with a flare, sometimes we like to be functional and at other times we like to be fun and that’s what Mercedes-Benz was able to establish with one of the most luxurious coupes in the market.
3. Toyota Prius: Disciplined and Friendly – The Healer
Celebrities love the Toyota Prius, because it helps boost their public image. Tom Cruise has a Prius, but he also has a Bugatti Veyron he flocks about in town.. It doesn’t mean you don’t care for cars if you own one, but it certainly means you care less about them if you own only one.
5. Ford Fiesta ST: Fun Loving Hippie/Accountant – The Supervisor
You love squeezing every bit of something to make the best out of it, chances are you are the person who plans trips and fixes tight budgets – You may be an accountant but you may also be a fun loving hippie who doesn’t mind having some fun every now and then.
The Huracan is a performer because it screams exoticness, just like you.. Every thing about the Huracan is loud and “look at me” is written all over this marvelous exotic. If you chose the Lamborghini Huracan because you think you might actually be able to afford it one day, and not because it is a “Lamborghini”. Then you are a bull at heart, and money is no object to you – chances are you love taking risks as much as you love the sound of that V10. If you aren’t a risk taker though, then you chose wrong my friend.
7. Nissan GTR: Technical Savvy Dominator – The Craftsman
You love the fact that your not so-expensive supercar trashes most exotics out there in a drag race and manages to further humiliate them on the Nürburgring. You may also love the part where Paul Walker smokes a Ferrari F355 Spider with his Toyota Supra “Nice Car, what’s the retail on one of those? – More than You could afford, pal…”.
8. Ford F-150 Raptor: Brave and Adventurous – The Protector
You love conquering as much as you love protecting, you may be weak but your heart speaks volumes in terms of compassion. The Raptor can devour off-road environments like no other stock car, it can also be used as a comfortable hauler for the family, offering utmost protection for its occupants.
9. 998 Porsche 911 Turbo: Confident and Precise – The Architect
Confidence is a trait synonymous with the 911 because it was able to maintain it’s beautiful shape for more than 50 years, with each of their cars performing better than the previous. It is one of the most understated supercars on the list, while capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in about 2.8 seconds.
10. Koenigsegg One:1: Analytical thinker and Smart Tinkerer – The Visionary
You are a visionary, the Koenigsegg One:1 will make its official debut in the 2015 Geneva Autoshow it is one of the first cars to achieve so many technological break throughs in one production car. 3D printed Turbocharges and a 3D printed Titanuim Exhaust are just few of what it holds under its belt. It offers an industry first 1:1 power to weight ration. You chose the One:1 because you are the visionary, able to see things before they happen and predict the future in different instances – You also inspire others with your smarts and expect nothing but the best.
What do you think, were you satisfied with the decision?
