Beauty can have many definitions but the right mixture of colors and simplicity can result in fascinating things that endure a long lasting impression. Such beauty resonates from the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya. A custom Koenigsegg that touched based with its gorgeous naked blue carbon body and gold accents.
Just two week after the Koenigsegg Agera XS made its way to the United States for the first time. Europe now gets the first Agera RS dubbed the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya and it’s every bit as special.
The Naraya refers to the purchaser’s family name since he owns the car, he also got to personalize it to his unique taste. Look closely and you would notice the clear blue carbon fiber finish stretching from the Agera RS flanks and also onto the carbon fiber tub – That’s the first time a Koenigsegg has a colored tub that matches the exteriors color.
Koenigsegg brought in skilled technician “Ettore” from Italy to the Koenigsegg factory in Sweden to apply the gold leaf highlights which took about two weeks of work with 12-hours a day for six days a week to be completed. It’s first applied to the glued surface of the panel then turned by hand using a small tool – finally it gets finished of with a few layers of clear paint to prevent scratches.
It gets even more special on the inside with gold stitching and gold piping, blue alcantara throughout and an 18-carat gold ‘Naraya’ nameplate with 155 diamonds created by Ada Diamonds in California. Backed by the monstrous twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 1160-bhp and 944 lb-ft of torque, it wont need any more power to make it special.
You can take a peak if you visit the Salon Privé supercar show at Blenheim Palace this week to see the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya, the Koenigsegg One:1 record holder and the last Agera R.
