You might have heard of the movie Baby Driver, if you are into cars and getaway movies such as Drive, Gone in 60 Seconds, Vanishing Point and Getaway. This one’s a little different though, it actually features a Baby driver. Wait what?
Given that you have seen the international trailer, which is a bit different from the American trailer – you might have either loved or hated the movie plot. Sadly though, the producers left us nothing to wonder about as you see the film’s entire plot in the trailer.
Edgar Wright wrote and directed Baby Driver and his resume is rather impressive but is mostly made out of comedy movies like the world’s end, Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. This one’s a little different and the audience isn’t all too sure how he would handle it.
He did however manage to bring the wonderful Subaru WRX’s 4-wheel drive into play rather than featuring a traditional American Muscle car like most Getaway movies do. Instead Edgar decided to go Japanese all the way, and the stunts look spectacular.
The plot is self explanatory – guy drives getaway cars, guy falls in love with girl, guy wants to leave criminal life but they won’t let him, guy plots his escape and ends up in a Dodge Challenger.
