As you all may know, Audi has never been in the business of producing hypercars before but that’s about to change as they consider an all new Audi Hypercar for the future to compete with cars like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the AMG Project One.
This was revealed during the Geneva Motor Show according to an interview with Autocar, Audi chief executive Rupert Stadler gave hints of a coming Audi hypercar to rival the Aston Martin Valkyrie. He went on to say; “I am looking forward to what’s possible in terms of new technology. There are some interesting ideas there, especially if you look to our interest in Formula E and electromobility,”
This might mean that Audi plans on introducing an all-electric sort of hypercar to compete with the rivaling brands, although it’s highly unlikely as they might be testing the waters for now.
Stephen Winkelmann did mention that the Audi Hypercar would be a good idea to test the brands value especially if they could use the Le Mans prototype as a test bed for their technology source.
