Australian firm KTM has just signed off the development of their brand new GT4 race car which is based on the X-Bow track car, only getting a normal body this time. We were excited to say the least about the X-Bow and the X-Bow GT4 is just that much better. Developed in coperation with Reiter Engineering, a German motorsport and engineering firm that works on Lamborghini’s and preps them for GT3 Specs as well as some Camaro’s.
The KTM X-BOW GT4 isn’t for street use that’s for sure, powered by a 2.0 four-cylinder turbo charged engine that can produce north of 350-400 hp which isn’t confirmed yet as it just passed the shakedown for the international Motorsport events, its much more than the X-Bow RR which is already doing simple club events and one make series.
Power will be delivered to the rear wheels via a manual sequential gearbox that complements the new modifications added to the suspension geometry, the gearbox, the ABS (Race) settings and the Aerodynamics improvements.
Price? Huh, well.. How about $151,900 for a brand new 2015 KTM X-Bow GT4 which will be sold worldwide although the first samples will be available in Australia for obvious reasons. We are not sure about the looks, but to each his own – What do you think?
