The 60th Anniversary Aston Martin Vanquish made its way to the never so ending Aston Martin fleet of special edition, and this edition celebrates the “Newport pagnell Works”.
And as usual, expect only six of these to be made like the recent Ferrari Sergio. The 60th Anniversary Aston Martin Vanquish will be a bespoke machine with a full set of unique features and a special material made out of pistons from Newport Pagnell’s special heritage cars, which will be used to create the metal rotaries that surround the major controls and the center console.
You might like the fact that one piston will be used in each of the six 60th Anniversary Aston Martin Vanquish special-editions, each in which would be drawn from one of the engines of the following heritage cars:
1975-1985: V8 Coupe
1985-1995: V8 Vantage X-pack
1955-1965: DB 2/4 Mk II saloon
1995-2005: V8 Vantage supercharged
2005-2015: Original Vanquish
Aston will be taking the piston out of engines that needed rebuilding and reworking, which all results in the creation of the amazing interior trim of the Works 60th Anniversary Aston Martin Vanquish, what raised the drama bar even higher was the fact that each of these pistons were used and fired billions of times during their life time inside of the engine bay of their donor cars.
Aston Martin Works 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Vanquish will carry one with the 6.0 Liter V-12 engine in the standard Aston Martin Vanquish. Special rims, Yellow side strakes, unique Yellow and Aluminum alloy wheels, Carbon Fiber, and white/black Duotone seat panels.
