There was a time when the GT-R was meant to be the budget supercar of the lot, but those times are far gone as the price of the Japanese Godzilla kept creeping up. For example; the new 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is now one of the most expensive GT-R’s money could buy with a $176,585 price tag including destination. It’s a $25,000 increase over last years Nismo.
If you haven’t noticed, the 2017 Nissan GT-R did receive a face-lift that got it a new Nissan unified corporate V-motion grille, added comfort, a new quality refined interior and a larger 8-inch touchscreen which all totaled up to a $8,220 jump from previous year models. Last years 2016 Nissan GT-R Nismo was priced at $151,585 which was considered quite high.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo does have 600-hp and 481 lb-ft of torque on tap from the twin-turbo V-6 engine and receives a more unique body styling that makes it much more special than the standard version. Add to that the Nismo exclusive leather-upholstered Recaro seats, red-accented carbon fiber ground effects, Alcantara steering wheel and carbon fiber wing.
So, how much is the Porsche 911 Turbo S going for these days? It starts at $189,150 which puts the 2017 Nismo right up there with it at $176,585 and is available in most of the dealerships right now.
