We are all to familiar with the new 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce and we gave it a shakedown not too long ago, but for every SV – there has to be a nice roadster to compliment the super fast Italian flagship model.
Peerless automotive photographer Jordan Shiraki gives us a first look at the new 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster finished in an un-familiar Blue Glauco color and made to resemble the SV with minor modifications. The new roadster is expected to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show if it were to see production.
The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster will be made in 500 examples worldwide only, while the standard SV sold all 600 units already. Prices are expected to be between $505,000 and $515,000 which is a tad more than the $493,069 price tag of the normal coupe version.
If you aren’t too familiar with the powerhouse that controls this mad-machine, it is the same V-12 6.5 liter that produces 739 hp and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds while topping out at 220 mph. The Roadster weighs 3,472 pounds (1574.83 Kg) which is 110 lbs (49 kg) heavier than the coupe thanks to the simple removable roof design which is a simple two-piece design made from carbon fiber.
