The 2017 Kia Sportage hasn’t made its official debut yet but to Our favor, we get to see the Korean crossover in flesh fully revealed ahead of the Frankfurt auto show’s official debut. It seems to be that the Korean giant Kia decided to go with an aggressive look which sees that the front fascia receive many updates to assert it within the crossover segment. It is obvious that inspiration has been drawn from the highly successful Kia Optima Sedan  as we can see those brand new 4-square Fog lights with LED running day lights, the angular headlights and the signature H grille.

Allot of inspiration has been drawn from the Kia K900 Luxury sedan and it seems to put the brand in a better place than before, with people flocking to buy the Korean offerings due to their current proven reliability and their refreshing looks. I find the new 2017 Kia Sportage sexy but I would still prefer a rather sharper design that deviates away from the older look, especially in the side profile which seems to be passing over generation after generation. Kia is making strides in improving their line up design, but their new 2-3 year refresh policy might backfire pretty soon.
