Now, lets talk about the important bit; the 2016 Nissan Maxima will get a revised & redesigned V-6 powerhouse that produces 300 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque, which is better than most of its competitors out there like the BMW 335i and the Acura TLX V6. Nissan also decided to use the Bose-equipped models to utilize the company’s active sound enhancement technology to increase the engine note within the cabin, similar to what you would see on the 2015 BMW M5.
