No the 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS was not there at the recent 2014 Paris Auto Show which was not a problem what so ever. Everybody loves the GTS lineup, be it in a boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Cayenne or a 911 and now we can have it all with 19 different flavours to be had for the 911 lineup.
Power is delivered smoothly through the same 3.8 Litre flat six found in the Carrera S, which now pumps out 430hp (30hp more than the Carrera S – 400hp) in addition to the optional Sport Chrono package which now comes as standard on the GTS. Adding to the goodie bag the PASM – Porsche Active Suspension Management damper system (phenomenal comfortable system FYI) capable of reducing ride height by 10mm to improve downforce and handling characteristics. The 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is capable of reaching a top speed of 197mph – 320 km/h in good conditions and can hit the 100km/h mark in 4 seconds in Coupe disguise, while the Cabriolet does the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.2 seconds due to the added weight.
PDK transmission is a must for any porsche, there will also be available a seven speed manual transmission that increases top speed. The exterior of the 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS saw subtle changes like the GTS black trim stripes running across the front grille mixed in with black chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes, wide flared rear wheel arches that house those great 20 inch alloys in addition to tinted tinted headlight surrounds, and black air intake trim up front to complete that menacing GTS look we all know and love.
