Just days since Roush released their version of the new 2015 Ford Mustang GT, V6 and Eco Boost versions. Saleen decided to drop their version with three different labels (White, Yellow and Black) and boy does it throw roushes lazy take on the new Mustang out the water.
Since this is Saleen’s first comeback since 2005, the famous mustang tuner company made sure that this Mustang is going to be unique. Saleen managed to upgrade the standard 2015 Ford Mustang GT to 450 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque (up from the stock’s 435 and 400) for the base S302 White Label model. But wait it does not stop their.
The Yellow & Black Label Saleen versions hold all the juicy parts, with an added supercharger that blankets the Cayote engine and gives it a heart warming 640hp and 565 lb-ft all delivered through a six speed Manual/Auto transmission. It is no big news that the new 2015 Mustang will have independent rear suspension as standard but the Saleen labels will ride on Saleen’s high-performance suspension, while a fully adjustable coil-over suspension that is optional but recommended.
Other interesting upgrades introduced to the S302 were six different options of 19-20 inch wheels (we appreciate the variety!), 10 different bright exterior paint jobs and optional large 15 Inch brakes with six piston calipers vs. (13.9 Front – 13.0 Rear on stock). While the Black Label get a unique color palette, an exclusive black label front bumper with daytime running LEDS, Carbon Fiber bits here and there, and suspension upgrades via shocks, springs and sway bars.
If you are interested in one of these, then we highly recommend you go for the Black Label, because it features the most unique set of upgrades and presence factor.
