Volvo decided to grant its infamous saloon the 2014 Volvo S60 a warmer revitalized face lift, and with all the pressure from other manufacturers they also updated the S80, the XC60 and the XC70 lineups. Although Volvo isn’t as famous in the Middle East market, as it is in Europe and America, you will find mothers using the Volvo XC60 while shopping, or for picking up the kids from school. This is justified, regarding the safety measures that par up with the requirements of mothers, looking to provide their children with the utmost safety.
But the question is; will the 2014 Volvo S60 be able to attract a younger market, or perhaps fall under sea of saloons that just don’t sell in the Middle East market. But, with this dynamic update, Volvo was positively aiming for a sensible smarter and younger market. The 2014 Volvo S60 receives what Volvo describes as wolf inspired headlights, great new interior, a redesigned lower front fascia, sleek LED bumper integrated strips, and prominent square exhaust pipes. Which are all win-wins in any young man’s garage.
I personally enjoyed the new interior of the 2014 Volvo S60, for a couple of factors. The overall chemistry of the interior is dominant and comfy feeling, unlike most sedans that try too hard to establish an ergonomic interior space. For starters, Volvo gave the S60 revised sport seats, and the all new “Sensus” connected touch system which enables the driver to use full internet utilities, like browsing, streaming music, checking your social media profiles, and also creates a WiFi network within the car for other passengers to login to.
