The 2014 Kia Sportage is a crossover vehicle that is aimed at the competition, namely Honda, Toyota and Ford. This 5-seater has a range of 4-cylinder engines which includes one that is turbo-charged for all you sporty fans out there.
The new features that are available include LED lights, power folding side mirrors and a sun visor extender.
The exterior of the new Sportage has 17-inch rims that come standard on the LX models. The LX model also has body-colored door hands and turn signals located on the side mirrors. The EX comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and also has heated side mirrors, roof rails for luggage and chrome trimming. The grille for the EX is chrome bordered.
Standard interior features include cloth seat upholstery, A/C, Bluetooth connectivity, CD capabilities with AUX and USB ports as well as adjustable front seats and a tilt steering wheel. There are some extra features for interior such as keyless entry, cooled glove box, dual-zone A/C and power driver’s seat adjustments. The EX and SX trims come standard with Uvo which is Kia’s infotainment system. Furthermore, they have available features such as a panoramic moon roof, heated and ventilated front seats and leather-trimmed upholstery.
The power source for the base model is a 176 HP, 2.4 L 4-cylinder engine. There is also available for the 2014 Kia Sportage the option of upgrading to the 260 HP turbo charged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that includes direct injection. Front-wheel drive comes standard and all-wheel drive is an upgradeable option.
