No it isn’t a new Ssangyong, you are looking at the new face of the 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee. And boy, words can’t describe what I am feeling. At first, I thought that this was a joke, but no! Jeep will actually change their amazing menacing Jeep Cherokee face into this weird pile of mess. Everybody loved the square shaped front fascia of the previous Cherokee’s and it has always worked for fans, and for Jeep. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee was supposed to be unveiling at the New York Auto Show next month (March), in which Jeep officially replaced the Liberty with the Cherokee, displaying an almost never seen before design ques in its strongest models.
These new elements included tiny strip head lights, bent 7 slot grill, huge ugly fog lights, and an H shaped lower grill that looks to be filched from a kia Sorento. Now the thing that makes this car so ugly to look at, would be the extreme inconsistency between all of these different element placed closely within one another. It’s as Jeep went to Pontiac’s designer and told him to give them a brand new Aztek, and name it the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The only thing that this car promises to deliver is around 45% fuel economy improvement, and pile of disappointed fans.
